“Twelve years ago I moved to Kamakura.

There, full immersion into Japanese history did what 25 years in Tokyo had not, and I at last came to understand something about this country.

So I wrote the 258 pages of this guide to describe the discoveries

I have made during the past decade.

This is the guide I wish I had when I arrived in Kamakura, and this is why I wrote it, for others to use.”

We are happy to organise a Dinner and Introductory Seminar to introduce the book and to share information about the Kamakura we like.

Saturday September 29.

18h30 – 21h30.

At Sông-Bé Café , 3 min from Kamakura Sta.

Presentation with projection by the author Francesco Baldessari, followed by a dinner specially prepared by the chef-owner of Sông Bé Café, Mr.Uji, who is also known as a connoisseur of Kamakura.

(Diner vegetarian/vegan)

Participation fee is 3000 yen including a drink and dinner.
